Dear Friends
I hope you are all well and looking forward to a sunny time
ahead. I hope you have made some exciting plans for your holidays, something that
makes you happy, whatever that might be! I have... and guess what I will be doing?
Yes, something that Agnes loves the most! Riding my bike and visiting beautiful places!
So yes, I will be doing another big bike ride this year, however, as much as I
want to keep my Agnes’ Charity Bike Ride continuing as my annual thing, I won’t
be raising money directly this year. Why I won’t be and where I will be going I
will write about in August. Instead of raising money myself, I would like to
promote some amazing bike fundraising initiatives. Let me tell you about this
one! And from the start I am sorry for letting you know so late...
This is an absolutely extraordinary, inspiring and uplifting story. John proves to me that anything is possible and that "the only impossible journey is the one we never started" - as you can learn from his blog. To me his challenge is still unthinkable and deserves all the support. John Woolner is cycling his penny farthing bicycle from
John O'Groats to Lands End (the JOGLE), raising money for 'Ride - On
Cycling for All,' a charity based in Exeter. Please support his effort by donating and/or sharing his story.
